After being together for 14 years, Lenore and I got married this past Sunday, July 5th, the date we met in 1995. At the time she was 19, and I was 27. She moved in with me a few months after we met, and we've been together ever since.

We both worked in Manhattan at the time and met on the subway. I proposed to her this past Valentine's Day while heading back into Manhattan to go to Tavern on the Green (a restaurant in Central Park). She wasn't exactly thrilled about taking the subway into Manhattan, but I wanted to propose to her where we met, on the 6 train. It was a complete surprise to her, and she was touched that it happened where we met.

I wanted to get married on July 5th, which was our anniversary, so we had a lot to do in a very short amount of time. Besides the church ceremony starting about 45 minutes late, it was beautiful, and we all had an awesome time at the reception! (I got hammered.) We kept the whole affair very intimate.

My brother surprised me at the church by bringing my Pantera! Here's one of the pictures. I heard something rumbling my way and when I turned and looked, I saw my car passing by. Since I never see it driving by, I didn't immediately recognize it! I was like, what an awesome looking car! Then like, hey, that's MY Pantera! I thought the wheel diameters and the stance looked phenominal! I couldn't stop looking at it. The photographer didn't know whose car it was, but asked me to try and get the owner's permission to take pictures with it. Needless to say I got the permission, and the photographer wants to use my Pantera in a photo shoot.

Our 6 year old son, Nicholas (Nifty), was the ring bearer, and our 4 1/2 year old daughter, Leanna, was the flower girl. Nifty was also my best man.

I've called Lenore my wife in the past for simplicity's sake, but now we've made it official. I just wanted to share this moment with my favorite community. I wish you all could have been there!

Thanks for all the well wishes and heartfelt comments! Every one of them means alot to me.

William (duz185) - I thought we were moving a little quickly, but sometimes you just gotta say WTF!

David B - My romantic side is what got me into this mess to begin with!

Bill (lastpushbutton) - I used to really enjoy driving my '74 Pantera in Manhattan as it needed paint, so I drove it 'balls to the wall'. I would thread it in and out of traffic with a hair's clearance and my foot on the gas. I may have had my '86 Pantera in The City once or twice. The once 'fun' yellow cabs are now a source of severe anxiety!

Ron - Just give a call when you can and Lenore and I would love to get together. We've yet to meet your new daughter and would like to.

Joe 1974 - "And Remember... Shiny Side up Rubber Side Down!" - This sounds like some kind of latex and oil fantasy. I'll have to try it some time soon!

RichardT - I'm 50/50 on Kingston right now, but I'd say to find another room mate if possible. In these days of tripods, I don't think I could justify a third!

Peter H - God has indeed been good to me, and I thank him everyday!

I hope to one day get to meet those of you that I have not yet met.

This is my family. On the left is my sister (she's the youngest) with her two boys, the next pair are my younger brother and his wife, then Lenore and myself (with our two kids) Nicholas in front of me and Leanna in front of my Mother, and the last two are my older brother and his wife.

We're not a big family (in a manner of speaking), but we do everything together.
