The hood vents are extreamly simple to install, they basicly slide into place on the back side, then through bolted (plastic bolts)on the front.
Just got the engine installed and fired up

Still have a lot of work to do, but I do love the sound of that kind of power

Man...
Lookin GREAT! And you painted it in your GARAGE? Got good faith in your abilities boy. I was thinking of doing the same but I am now leaning on just paying someone to shoot mine.
So where bouts in Florida are you? Was wondering if I could scoot over some day and see that puppy in person. I am in Palm Beach County, east of the lake.
Time to change the avatar..

Thanks Angelo
I am in Cape Coral which is almost directly across the state from you.
You can get a pretty nice paint job in a garage if you are careful, always best to use a booth when you can.
Are there a lot of panteras in your area, I know of 3 over here but kind of scattered.
You are always welcome here, I have a 72 and a 73. Going to be selling one of them as I can only afford 1 pantera.
1729 was my first pantera and probably my favorite but I suppose your right, if I keep the orange wide body it will be my next avatar

There are 3 counting my car in my area and 3 more that I know of in the Lauderdale and Miami areas. We have been trying to get some of them together for a while now. Some of them are pegged in the pantera locations map. You can link to Bob's car on the above map and a quick vid of Jays' car is at :

Boy, I know about the multiple car projects, I WAS restoring my 64 vette coupe when I started fixing things on the Pantera and it just got totally out of control, must be an OCD thing.

The car looks amazing, especially with the black accents. That is what I will do to my car eventually.
Sounds great too!

Angelo.
I am here in Cape Coral, there is also another pantera owner here, "Captaintobeys" in Cape Coral. There was a 3rd owner, but not sure if he is still here. You East Coast Fla. guys have a lot more panteras than we do.
Check with Billy at Powers Radiator. He has a Pantera he is building on and off when finaces allow. He knows of many that are in this area
Yes I have my house and #6656 in PSL.
I also live in Tampa some times, work anywhere they send me... so if I can't bring the car, I'll show up anywhere you guys say, (If I am around). It would be nice to get together, it always seams that when a car show happens I get sent out of town.

Boy, I know the feeling. I am leaving in a few hours for the Kissimmee auction and NCRS gathering, gonna make a weekend of it. Then back home to work on the projects.
Yep, gonna have to have a Florida Pantera meet and greet!
Planning on going to the west coast of Fl. in the next week or so, any cruises or gatherings happening in the near future?

Don't know bout that, or they just won't come out to play! Think I'm gonna ride by a shop to snag a few pics of a couple that were in it the last time I rode by.

Seems there is another pantera in Cape Coral that I was not aware of, it's on e-bay and looks nice.

I would love to go to a "meet & greet" but I might have to drive my daily beater as neither of my panteras are currently licensed. Both still need a litle work and I know I am going to have to sell one of them. Problem is, I am not sure which one I am going to let go of.

That might be the Pantera that Ron owned. He runs Lee County Transmission. I have to ask Billy.
Awesome orange car. Nice work, dude. I can't believe that some folks can actually do this in their garage!
