We understand that the Union Plaza Hotel has not extended the POCA Convention Lodging and club headquarters after years of faithful participation by Pantera enthusiasts. The organizers are looking for a new venue. Pantera owners are probably viewed as "low rollers" and not worthy of using those dilapidated digs. Lets hope that a new site is found that is of a higher standard. Since the hotel may be changing, perhaps the tavern type setting can be abandoned in favor of a more car-centric type event. Moving the event closer to the Pahrump track may be a step in the right direction. How many people are going to miss the Union Plaza and what changes would you like to see made to the event?

The thought that Glitter Gulch will no longer be a stone's throw away from the POCA Hospitality Suite causes me great personal sadness and some considerable concern over the possibility of an unexpected and significant impact on the local dancers' economic stability.

Any truth to the rumor that the Orleans has agreed to host us for 2005?

Don't you worry, we'll find a way to prevent any economic hardship for those dedicated workers.
