In my last comment I left you on Sunday… The judges had already ruled, and out of the 20 cars there were several awards:
Best of Show (chosen from best American Vs Best European)
Best American Car
Best European car
Concorso Italiano (Best Italian)
Best non restored… and so on.
Well 8MA-882 got the Italian Game, hands down it was in the fight then for best European. Then…… a fastener went loose, the coolant ran away and I turned down the engine… He He, I couldn’t claim the Italian price, so I lost the challenge for best European… it went to a Jag XC 120… Best of show to a Lincoln…
The farewell? thing at my business didn’t happen. I lost a large contract I had been working on form months… and I have a kid getting into Boston University. So… I promised my wife to sell the Mangusta…. I am just doing the finishing minor details, and will have it for sale in the next weeks…
I was already planning to challenge Denis in the most driven Mangusta, in spite of the Mexican speed bumps… It seems it won´t be this time…
