Do I think that the car is worth more money as a result? Probably not. Do I think that it makes your car a little more special? Definitely!

It might give you a little edge if you were showing it in some hoity-toity concourse, and might make for some interesting conversation, but I don't think it would affect the price any.

My GT5-S was the first one made, and did the auto-show circuit before it was later sold but I wouldn't pay any more for that fact...

That's what I'd do!! :-) Just between you and me (and however many hundreds of people are reading) DeTomaso's serial numbers sometimes came out a little jumbled, which makes calculating models by adding or subtracting serial numbers a little tricky.

To answer someone else's question, I'm not aware of any price premium applying to the pushbutton cars. As Panteras aren't really "collector cars", there isn't a real price premium for unique features, unless we're talking about it being a Factory Group 4 racer or something...
