LEROI Compressor Parts

I have this compressor brand new ..but I never used it. Now it blew a reed vlave and I contacted them and they are searching for the parts.

Can anyone identify this....they think its brazilian made.

The model is a DRESSER air pump TRU-5.S ..but they say dresser has not made this in a long time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey It looks simple enough to just cut one out of flexible metal..??? Motorcycle reed valves may be an alternative..... How about a trip to the kawasaki shop?

LOL hey they said that not me ! They are still looking for the reed valves. The process with reed valves is .. you have to cut them out of the right thickness metal ..heat them and dip them in oil...then you have to treat them again to make them in to spring steel other wise you get what happened to me ...they are broken. I don have a friend who offered to make them..but the amount of hours actally ..its cheaper to buy a new air pump.
