I have gotten to the point where I need to slim down the parts/project cars. I thought I might need these to complete my LongChamp, but I am beyond that point now. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM. One is complete, but rusted the other is beyond repair but I thought I might need the sheet metal. If I can not sell the parts car, it goes to the cape and I will part it out. I have a title for it. The other no title.

Just in case they don't go to someone here who needs them...

I might be interested in any of those cars, to put them in a 501C3 non-profit car museum, of which I am on the board. We can issue tax credits in exchange for donated vehicles.

It's called Motorama, and it was founded by Tom Zat (formerly of Alfa Romeo racing fame and builder of the SSZ Stradale's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSZ_Stradale ) for the purpose of "preserving and displaying 20th century autos for their historical value, unique engineering and aesthetics".

Here's a link to the museum's webpage: http://www.alfaheaven.com/Catalog/MtrRmaPostr.html

Significant cars would either be restored for display indoors, displayed 'as is' in our outdoor "boneyard", or (if it's an ordinary car) resold to defray our operating costs.

You're a ways away, so I'd have to consider transportation costs, and probably only the rarer cars would be worth a long-distance haul.

Anybody who wishes any additional information can pm me here or email me at: undy@mhtc.net or contact Tom Zat directly at: cosmo4info@gmail.com

If you're in the Wausau, Wisconsin area, please stop in and take a tour. It's worth it just to hear Tom's racing stories!

Thanks,
Paul
Awwww! I'm BUMMED! I was interested, and it might well have been worth more money.

I'm showing the value for a single junk Pantera at $2,800.00 I have no listing for a junk Longchamp, but it's likely in the same range, or higher.

We could probably have issued you a federal tax deduction for $5-6000 for your two cars. Granted, it's not cash. But if you're paying U.S. taxes, it's about the same.

Here's a link to our new Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Motorama.Auto.Museum

And another one with more pictures: https://www.facebook.com/media...6036162423803&type=3

Please folks, let's keep 'em around.
ttam23,

Not too many Goggomobil fans out there.

I know of one. Not running. Body is pretty complete. Currently located in a shed in Wisconsin. Looks like it's been there for a few decades, at least.

We're after it for the museum. The old guy who owns it wants to trade for something, but can't tell us what. In case our negotiations fall through, I'll be glad to turn over the contact info.

Have you seen video of the one with the radial engine? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2V7B7-gdRA Different car, but the same level of genius that some guys here display.

Here he's building the transmission from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNe2zcfdwwA
