I am about to replace my rear axle bearings on my Longchamp. I have the Timken bearings installed and so I was looking for some new Timkens. Couldn´t get two complete pairs. So I have received alternatively an offer from a bearing producer from spain named FERSA. They offer the bearings as follows: JLM104948/-910 and JLM506849/-810.
Does anyone have experience with this brand ? Price is circa 50 Euros a pair (incl.tax).
Thanks
Walt

One rear bearing I found in our '72 Pantera was made in Spain. Most bearing mfgrs have divisions scattered across the globe. I've not used them, but a quick Google search shows FERSA/Spain has been around since the'60s with a good rep' in Europe. They recently acquired NKE (Not NKG!) bearings in Austria. Should be fine in your Longchamp.
