Can anyone recommend a source or an alternative that fits our cars?
Stuart in Aus suggested some off a Volvo may be the same?
Any ideas?

Just in case anyone needs these Roger Brotton here in the UK has had them re-manufactured.
I just purchased two at under $100.00 which is not bad for these custom parts.

Last time I needed a set I just went to the local parts supply shop, and took a sample, found something with same taper and thread size. Turned out to be common to an Australian car from GM called a Holden, I'm sure there must be lots of GM vehicles that use a similar unit. They were very cheap - $30 or so.
