I am currently overhauling the complete rear end of my Longchamp. I noticed the rear trail arm bushes are in poor condition and need to be replaced, especially those on the small side
After an extensive research on italian classic of these years (Fiat/Lancia/ alfa/ maserati/ Lamborghini), I could not find them.
I also had a look on the Jaguar side. The C17146 bushes used on XJ6 and type E do not match the dimensions. Dimensions are exact metric, so there is no hope on the english side.
Dimensions are :
small side : OD=38mm ID=17mm. There is a sleeve reduction (17 to 12mm) tight fitted inside that should slip easily when clean or new. Width = 28mm for external sleeve and 37,5mm for inner one. Note this small bearing is almost fully encapsulated in a steel cage to accomodate the extensive shear due to high torque at this place
large side : OD=64mm ID=25mm, same with a reduction sleeve to 14.2mm). Width = 45mm for external sleeve and 55mm for inner one .
Does anyone knows where to source them or from which car it comes from? I can't believe this was made only for De Tomaso.
