Big Grin Cool

Last Saturday morning I participated with my 10yr old son (and Pantera, of course) to the Helsinki Sports Car Breakfast Club meeting. There we about 110 different sports cars around including some ridiculously expensive Astons, Ferraris, Porches etc. (Car taxation here is very high here)

Lo and Behold, the journalist from the Helsingin Sanomat newspaper got really interested about our cat. He had interviewed Tom Tjaarda last year when he visited Finland and was really impressed about the looks of the Pantera. The story will be out next Saturday in the weekend car section. For us this comparable to getting into New York Times in US. My son was so proud about this and can't wait asking neighbours if they read the news. LOL.

Cheers,
Janne

Here's the story from the newspaper. Sadly only fender visible from the Pantera, but we are there... Big Grin

Actually one Pantera owner that I didn't know already called me after the article. Not to mention some old friends. LOL.

Can you read Finnish? Smiler In the picture text, my son said that if he would have to choose one car from the lot (Pantera not allowed), he'd pick Mustang GT. LOL. Die Hard Ford guys.

Yes, it was more than great to see this car in Sipoo's meeting. I never knew this kind of an orginal Pantera is in Finland. Only knewn that 1978 GT5 and one yellow and one silver-black. Just haven't got desend images of yellow one, silver one I have but not too many.
And finally I got the image what I have allways wanted to take; with out rearwing and straight low behind. Smiler

Hope you liked the images.
These were the only change to take them, because the parking place is not never the roomiest place in this meeting.
I would estimate, that there must be at least 20 De Tomasos in Finland at the moment. Half of them seem to be somewhere in the middle of the project, just like mine. Nine of those Finnish De Tomasos I have seen alive. The amount of Panteras in Finland seems to be growing slowly, but steadily. Those Norwegians also seem to be having really hot feelings for Pantera at the moment, with their quite new and enthusiastic club and everything.
