In My Opinion, It's Best, if You use STUDS, and Not Bolts, on Aluminum Heads (as well as The Iron Heads).
Studs are More Rigid and Stronger, as they Screw Deeper into the Block. And Most Important, The Fine Thread of the Nut, Provides a 40% Increase in the Clamping Force, at the Same Torque.

I'am sure there are those who will disagree with Me, But as a Machinist, that's My Take on It.
