Here is the alignment data from the factory for the Goose that I promised
you. The only thing I find suspect, is the suspension heights of 6"!!!
Certainly they are not measuring from the bottom of the cross member at the
rear!!! No idea where they are measuring for the front... We set the car up
so that it was somewhat level and the wheels sat properly in the wheelwells.
So, taking that with a grain of salt...here are the numbers from the
factory. I've also included the setup that the guy did for my car, at Custom
Alignments in Mountain View, who also do a lot of club Panteras, SAAC cars,
etc. The tech is an instructor at a local college, in auto chassis sciences
and really appears to know his stuff! He pointed out a problem with my front
chassis/a-arm that will need to be addressed yet before we can get an optimum
alignment.... always something!!!

FACTORY ALIGNMENT
FRONT

Suspension Height= 6"
Camber= -.75 degrees (-3/4)
Caster= +5 degrees
Toe= 0
Tire Pressure 32psi

REAR

Suspension Height= 6 11/16"
Camber= -.75 degrees (-3/4)
Toe In= 1/8"
Tire Pressure 35psi


MY CAR
Front
Camber= -.8 degrees
Caster= +4.2
Toe In= +.05"

Rear
Camber= -.8 to -.6
Toe= +.09"

There were a number of other measurements such as cross camber, thrust
alignment, etc, but I figured they may be a function of the alignment machine
and the program, that the tech would also be working off of. I'm only
supplying the basics...


After replacing my thoroughly toasted front tires (due to bad ball joints, a
couple a-arm bushings, a couple worn heim joints, and wheel bearings...) my
car now tracks very nicely down the road!!! It is a pleasure to drive!!! I
still need to replace the front shocks due to bad shock bushings, but that
should be a one for one swap. Just set the height the same... but my a-arm
will need some minor surgery.
