Mangusta half shafts similar to Pantera?

The stub-axle ends in the ZF and in the hubs are the same and just by looking at them, it appears the halfshafts are the same as Pantera. The overall lengths might be a bit shorter but there is that slip-joint in the middle... Sorry I didn't try this when I had both at my shop.

I was wondering if anyone has converted their stock half shafts to the CV design. Is there a noticeable difference. My thinking is that the powere delivery is smoother and the noise is quieter. Any thoughts.

There was a vendor in Vegas the last year we were there that raced off road trucks and he had developed a CV design for the Pantera. Strong, but expensive - $2,000 for complete conversion.
