...the Maseratisource checkerboard background is pretty distinctive, but no, these are not the same guys (just borrowed pictures). I suppose almost all marketing channels go back to a very few manufacturers, and bless them all.
Other diamond-type patterns for Maserati have been available before, but this one seems to be the correct one for the Goose....so someone found or duplicated the embossing tool.
The "triangle" is about 43mm x 19mm...May not be a surprise that the direction of the quilt is random (1046 shows 'long' dimension from front to rear, 8ma1074 and '1076 have it from side to side)--Lee
An update, Autoricambi D'epoca is providing me a new Goose hood pad---1.0x1.4m at 590 euros (before shipping) is the most expensive piece of vinyl I think I'll ever buy, but wow, a chance to get the right stuff to replace the 52 year old pad.....Lee
