Mangusta Parts | The De Tomaso Forums

I am looking at a low mileage, complete and original 69 Mangusta that has not been on the road for several years. I am wondering what parts are interchangeable with the Pantera and other cars. I know the Italians were big on national content when this car was built so I assume some parts may be similar to Alfa, Fiat, and the like. How about wheels, brakes, clutches , master cylinders, etc. Also is the ZF transaxle and half shafts the same as a Pantera? I am wondering if I can get/keep this car on the road without bastardizing it.

I have just started researching this stuff. So far the most information I have found is on this board.

You need to get in touch with Steve Liebenow. He's the recognized Mangusta guy. He's in the POCA directory and I think he's on this forum occassionally.
