Lee,

Late reply......

Air cleaners- there was at least one on ebay not to long ago...hopefully you got it!

You may need to make the bulkhead castings, turn them out of aluminum and bead blast them to finish like "cast".

Working on getting more 80mm paper tubes for the connections from air cleaner to bulkhead. Have not yet been able to source them in US!

Parking brake assy: Handle is from EARLY 60's Ford Capri (Euro car!). Not an easy bugger to find, but they are out there! I would guess that your car could go with black handle or chrome...! The rest can be fabbed from strap steel and the pulleys may be from a Fiat 500 or 750.....

OE Starter relay: Do search on ebay for "Lucas solenoid" and see what pops up. There is a current version that has the button on the top, just like the old ones!

Turn signal/horn lever: Lucas part also. This assembly is dangerously close to a similar vintage MG I believe. There are square stalk and round stalk versions (mucho harder to find) but the mechanism will be the same. Push for horn, forward for high beams, pull back "flash" I think, and then L & R. Five function switch I think.

I chased these turn signal switches for a while and based this on what I found. Minor differences....look the same, but differ in the high beam and flash options.

Hope this helps!
Steve

Hello Lee; You are in an envious position.

You own a car ( Mangusta) that appreciates in value every day you ignore it Sweet

Be interested in hearing about your "Other car projects" that prevent you from working on your Mangusta...a Lola T70 perhaps?!...Mark

The Countach's recent valuation Explosion is better than riding the Stock Market & you get to DRIVE IT!!!...WELL DONE LEE!!!

The Phaeton is an interesting automobile with unusual features, "1" being Super Charged & the other the "Hidden Headlamps", VERY innovative considering the era & time frame!

Are you looking to adopt a 58 year old White Guy?!...Mark
