Hi guys, I had to go to Gatineau this week-end to deliver a golf cart to a friend and decided I would go by Denis place to visit him and have a look at his new acquisition. I love the car. It's the perfect toy to enjoy. He took the car out to give me a ride and he let me drove it back. I don't know why but the american V8 is something different in an Italian car. After the ride I felt like I was ready to sell the Ferrari and go back to a Pantera. Is this a good thing??? ;-) Anyway he's got a very fun car and so unique. Congrats Denis...

Claude, It was a pleasure to see (it's been far too long) YES you need another Pantera. You have Ford blue blood in your veins. As you said a long time ago the F-car is more refined but not as fun as the brute power of the DeTomaso.
I can also say it took you less than the bat of an eye to make the car an extension of your body, your shifting and the way you took that curve was amazing.

Next year you have to make it to Kingston, with a few friends.

Denis

Well!! I've been driving those mid engine and gated shifter cars for some years now. I remember a incoming ramp on the 401 in a Pantera when working for Legendary motor cars in 1991 the rear tires lost traction, I then realized I was at 70 MPH in a very tight curve. That was cool.......... Yes I really have to go to Kinston, I'll try to borrow Ben's group4 replica with only 613 HP on the dyno :-). And you're right it's been too long since the last time we met, we both have much more gray hair lolll.
