Mark,
Good to speak to you in regards to the compressor bracket. Here is one more reason for a windsor over cleveland. Pictures to prove the results.

Ford Motorsport offers a water pump that is 1-1/2" shorter then the standard pump the part number is: M-8501-E351. Using this pump and the ford pulleys part number: M-8509-R and a crank spacer (Part number M-8510-A351) you can move the water pump back. Then modify the bulkhead removing a majority of the hump. Ford offers different size spacers so careful measurement might be needed to get the right one. The base part number is the same just the suffix changes. For the alternator, I went to Napa, they had a dual groove alt pulley sitting in a box, cost FREE. By running two belts across the H2O pump, alternator and compressor, you eliminate a possible failure from a belt breakage. Plus the torque is load balance across both so less belt slippage. I used a thermostate housing from CSI (part number 9111B). This is an o-ring style housing that rotates 180. Allowed me to clock the exit and clears the firewall.
