I was checking my fluids yesterday, and realized my clutch master has no fluid. It is a PIM unit probably bought around 5 years ago. when I added more fluid and pressurized the system the cylinder was leaking from where the reservoir attaches to the cylinder is a copper crush washer. Is this generally a serviceable part of the unit? In the grand scheme of things a new one is another $100 but $1 for a washer vs $100 is still a nice save.

There is a fair chance it is leaking where the ferrule crimps the plastic reservoir onto the narrow nut in your photo. If it still leaks after you replace the crush washer then it is probably the where plastic is crimped. If that's the case, I know of a couple of possible fixes.
Could you please advise what the possible fixes are for those of us that have the reproduced units that leak?
1. Use the reservoir from your old clutch master. Clean it with some bleach water.
Or:
2. Remove your leaking reservoir and clean it thoroughly with hot water. Let it dry. Put masking tape on the outlet, mixup some JB Weld and pour it in until it is above the riveted ferrule. After the JB Weld is hardened, drill it out. Brake fluid does not affect JB Weld.
Or:
3. Get a new reservoir from Wilkinson. He has a bunch of them.
I took out the copper washer and anealed it. Wrapped the nut in some thread tape. Will see how it goes.
Worst job in these cars requires going under that dash.
My 3 bad masters leaked at the joint of the plastic bottle and the threaded fitting. One vendor started putting blobs of epoxy in the reservoir at that joint as a bandaid, as noted above. Get a Wilwood!!
Invest in an original ATE unit and you will forget all that trouble. Those buy cheap, those buy twice…
No, Wilkinson’s clutch master cylinders are not ATE.
