Dear Pantera Pals,

You may have heard that I was going to participate in the preparation of a book on DeTomaso racing cars with French author/publisher Philippe Olzyck.
That was true...for a while. But there's been a change, and that's not happening, for reasons I won't bore you with.

I wish Phil every bit of luck in this venture, and am supporting it with photos and other stuff from my own collection. I encourage you to do the same. He has gathered an amazing, and I do mean amazing, pile of archival photos, race results, and other anecdotes, and it should be a fun piece about our favorite marque. His goal is to have this project done by the end of this year, so it should a hot item at the Vegas Fun Run, 2006.
