Merry Christmas to you too ! We just bought our retirement home in Kauai on Christmas Eve. In 5 years we will bring another De Tomaso to the Islands and hope to meet some of the island owners and hear of the special care they may need over there. We will put lots a parts in the container when we ship Smiler
Glad to hear that another cat is coming to town! Hawaii has little support in the pantera or after market parts department so bring spares. Even the off the shelf performance parts will cost you an arm and a leg here. I wait until I make mainland trips or have my sister in Arizona buy/send them to me. There are not many cats in Hawaii and even less that are in communication with each other. I will be attempting to start off the club again if I can reach the owners. Keep in touch. My Email is dyogi@hawaii.rr.com
Thanks for the reply. Sounds greta to try to get some common communication or club going, share the knowledge etc. I did go to a couple of local shows in Kauai and saw several nice street rods, Early Corvettes, Fererri and Lambo. One of the Real Estate guys had a Cobra and I guess they have a drag Strip on the West side. My e mail is welchr@diebold.com. If there is anythng I can bring over some time, give me a shout. I get over 3 or 4 times a year.

There is a guy on Maui who frequents this forum. He currently has a Hummer but is interested in getting a Pantera. He relates that there are a couple of cats there that he is aware of. I know of less than 10 on Oahu (I've actually seen only 2 on the roads) and personally know (sort of) 2 of the owners. Its a very rare car and not a social gathering of owners. Hopefully things will change.
