For those thinking about building a 21st century 351-C with OEM or new heads & intakes, MME recently announced they are having an all-new block cast in the U.S, machined in the U.S. and will be for sale 'soon'. Sean McEwan's MME is the highly competent east coast shop that finish-machined the first (and so far, only) Todd Butterworth replica aluminum block for a street Mustang owner. No new postings have appeared in some time on Butterworth's project which also was rumoured to have cast iron blocks in the works.
MME's code-name 'Titus' cast iron blocks will have priority oiling, a host of improvements and various bore sizes possible to support truely big horsepower. And of course, MME would like the chance to finish-machine any as-cast blocks thus sold. More info is on their web site.
