More Pantera Headlight Options

Can you do a two picture comparison if it's not too much trouble? First picture with both xenon bulbs, and second picture with both silverstar bulbs? Thanks.

I'm planning to replace the xenon with Silverstars soon. Taking the bulbs out of the Pathfinder was an adventure that I don't want to take again! I got small hands and had I had trouble getting my hand in to manipulate the bulb socket! I'll post picts when I make the change.

The Silverstar is noticably whiter (therefore brighter) than the xenon. You can see the difference in the comparison shot between the xenon and the silverstar with the garage light on. Once the room is darkened, the difference is less noticable because the silverstar is so bright that it washes out the color of the xenon.

My findings are that the projector lamp/xenon is a lot brighter and gives it a better lighting pattern than the stock 7" sealed beams. Replacing the xenon with the silverstars makes it ever brighter

I believe that the H-4 Silverstars are about $25 each. CSK auto (Checkers, Schucks, Kragens) have them on sale now, $20 off when you buy two $10 instant/$10 mail in rebate, coupon is in their current advertisement.
