Danno. In the FWIW department, when I put in my Corbeau Forza (made it quick removable for auto events), I put on a 3/16" aluminum plate and have it move forward/back with hole selection. (I needed extra headroom). I think the EVO is basically the same kinda seat. Works fine for me, takes 5mins max to swap it. (plus the 4pt snap-in harness)

Wayne995, thanks for the info. Looked up the dimensions on both seats but haven't actually seen either one in a car or its mounting. I will have to place my butt in both to determine which is the better ergo fit for me. The mounting was really what concerned me. As long as I know sliders will fit with no hassles the solid mounts offered should not be a problem.I couldn't get specific measurements from either vendor concerning the sliders or solid mounts?

Kaamacat, your system sounds sounds alot like what I'll probable use. I was thinking about reinforcing the bottom floor pan with 1" width mild steel stripping and bolting the solid mounts offered by either Sparco or Recaro.

Thanks again guys for the feed back.

Danno. The plate I made actually bolts into the original mounting holes with 8MM's. For my regular seats the plate is flat, about 16"w x21" for movement. The one I use for the Corbeau Forza is angled up 1" at front for a better angle. In either case I used a cardboard template, measured 100x...etc. The aluminum plate @ 3/16 can easilly be cut with woodworking tools. (I used my bandsaw).

IN FACT.......I took my seat out (regular Pantera style) and placed in the new one before I bought it to check for clearences.
