Mounts

My transaxle only has the rear mount. Is there any way to install the side mounts and how much of a hassle is the job. I feel the drivetrain wants to torque roll around too much with the single mount. Am I just being paranoid or do I have a legitamit gripe? The car is a 71 with a -2 trans.

Dennis Quella (Pantera Performance Center)sells stainless side mounts that will solve your issue. They incorporate a steel bracket that fits under the frame mounted sway bar brackets - very clean unit, and MUCH easier to remove the ZF with these side mounts as opposed to the stock style. Cost is ??? $150 or so ???
