Another thought. Why is the spitting silvery in color? That doesn't look typical of an exhaust leak. Could it be overspray from high temp paint?

Take the muffler off of the car and have the joint brazed. That's with brass instead of welding, and with a gas torch.
This way it won't distort the heck out of everything and the brass won't rust.

Ha ha, yeah its a damn shame that is all I have to deal with...donate to charity. I may try that jegs product, as it looks like it may work. Worth a try anyway, as I don't really feel like taking anything apart to braze it (however that looks like a permanent correct option). It isn't a huge deal, but it does accumulate somewhat after a few rides as shown. It probably looks silvery in color due to the camera flash. My car is set up to run a little rich, so my white cabinets behind the exhaust tell the true black exhaust color after a good warm up.
