I have a '74 with a moderately modified 351C (headers, Edelbrock 4V, Holley 650, Crane rollers. mild cam). I have the stock ANSA mufflers. My left muffler has an annoying rattle (probably a loose baffle). My question, does it make sense to cut it open, repair and recondition these (glass-bead, new paint, new tips), or should I just replace them. I like the sound of the ANSAs and don't really want to go louder. Anybody out there have the PI Motorsports stainless mufflers?
