Anyone experienced in rebuilding vintage multipiece race wheels?

I am taking apart an old Ronal wheel and starting the overhaul process.

I need M6x40mm 12.9 bolts for the rebuild.

What are the options for sourcing high quality hardware?

ARP pieces are $11/combo of bolt, washer and nut.

Fastenal is $2/combo.

Any reason to avoid Fastenal? They supply the aviation and Mil industry.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Fastenal 12.9 grade bolt as it's manufactured to a spec.

I went with fasteners from McMaster Carr as many race shops do.
