My brother also has 2 saleen's 1- 1988 convertible white / gray #2- 1991 coupe [notch] black gray
a rare original saleen because of the notch body style.
We just sold a super clean 93 notch 3/22
and we have a 1994 GT convertible for sale.
So yes i guess you can say my bro and i are MUSTANG people as well as PANTERA.
My first car was a 71 Mach1 with an m code 351c.It was the first car i ever restored or modified.I went thru a couple of 351's and ended up with a built 460.I sold it when the body started to twist even with the roll cage and frame connecters.I had an 87 gt convertable for a bit as a daily but i sold it to my brother. Then i got my Pantera....and the world has not been the same since.
I could not agree more, I am a De Tom convert, the shelbys were fun but were always seen (in 1989) as expensive mustangs. for me this newly purchased mustang is a trip down memory lane, a really fun driver. i don't have to worry about like a rock in the road taking out the oil pan and driveways are not a challenge, but let's not forget where we are! I view driving the De Tomaso cars as a special event now! Because i have not been with mustang in my local mustang club for 5 years My club has accepted the De Tom cars as their own, which for an orphan like the Pantera it has been a nice place to call home.........May God Keep Our Service Men and Woman Safe and Home soon...
