Following an approach to our club, I provided use of my GT5S for filming of the Used Car Roadshow. They do a dream car spot each week and wanted a good example of a late model Pantera. My car was with Roger brotton for some service work and the producers asked if they could use it. Roger drove to the studios for the day. Apparently the car caused a real stir. The show is screened on ITV4 wed 30th May and saturday 2nd june at 7pm. I am really looking forward to seeing it. This is a UK show for anyone ineterested. If I find a link to the show in the future I will pass it on to Garth for the banzai page

Turned out ok Peter. Considering the time they too shooting there was very little good camera work with the car and jason Dawe got some of his facts wrong. But its good to see your own car on TV and i am very proud of how well the paintwork shows up under the studio lights, makes the 328 that follows look in bad need of a professional compound and polish. Its all good in promoting the interest in De Tomaso cars. Here is a link of the clip on youtube

I think you are being too modest. The review went very well. When the co-host decided she preferred the Ferrari because your Pantera was "too masculine", I'm sure every red-blooded sports car enthusiast out there groaned and swore to themselves that they would never, ever buy a 328.

You have done the DeTomaso community a real service. Thanks for showing the flag.
Stephen,

What great promotion of the De Tomaso marque. I notice the presenter had to ask the audience if anyone had even seen a Pantera before. No one had a problem recognizing the 328. Your car stood head and shoulders above the Ferrari.

Also liked the Bristol clip near the end with the Westcountry boy saying "Yeah but in traffic it'd be f**king awful, wouldn't it" He probably goes off to get in his traffic frindly 'Mini'. Takes me back though....my kneck of the woods was only an hour south!

Garth, the clip named "Purple Winged Pantera" on you webpage is also my car, also here is another taken by a spectator at the recent Bristol Italian Auto Moto Festival where I won an award and a bottle of champagne. It shows Geoff Peters in his GT5 conversion, Peter Saywell in his Zonda F and myself leaving Bristol after the Festival.

Very Cool. I'll add it to the list too.
