Just on a last-minute whim, I decided to go south of Fresno about 20 miles to a small show in the city park of Selma, California. Home of Sunmaid Raisins - the Raisin Capital of the World.
I intended to go with a new Fresno-area Pantera owner, but his car arrived at 8:30 the night before, had some battery charging issues and he had to take his Fiero GT40 thingie.
So there I am, about 100 or so cars, mostly street rods and such, and one other foreign car - a very nice Karmann Ghia. Found another Pantera owner, parked next to me with a great '60 Cad Coupe De ville. (His Pantera is a garage project, finish time not in the near future ).
Imagine it was pretty well destined, so few foreign cars, but I took first in class, and this small little show gives nice first-place prizes.
Paid for entry, gas, drinks and lunch.
