Fantastic, I found a couple of listings on e-bay with bids already at $130 and $140 ... this is actually above what we can get them for ... there's a model store in Toronto (Toronto Motorsports) who will be getting his supply very soon (he told me months ago that as soon as they start showing up on e-bay in China, that they should be only a few weeks from reaching him (boat across the Pacific, Train across Canada, Truck from the distributor).
Here's the Pantera on his website Toronto Motorsports Pantera ... he has a pre-order deal available if you type PANTERAPRO in the Apply Discount Code when ordering - he told me the promotion code would end when the cars arrive at his shop.
Here's a link to the Forum thread where folks have been awaiting these models since late last year ... http://pantera.infopop.cc/eve/...562/m/7881003446/p/1 ... it's great to see they're finally leaving the factory!
Are these going to be limited editions or will it be worth while to let the initial excitement die down to see an lowering in price? It is just that I noticed they were bidding upwards of $140 with days to go so they could end up being quite expensive. Combine that with shipping to Australia it is a little out of my current price range.
I received my new Kyosho 1:18 die cast "Euro" Pantera GTS yesterday. I bought it from Toronto Motorsports and they couldn't have been better to deal with. It arrived so well packaged (double boxed) it could have been thrown from the roof of a ten story building and it would have survived. I believe the PANTERAPRO discount code still works. It's available in yellow too.
