If you don't mind me asking, why is he parting out his euro GTS? I have one and maybe I should look at buying some parts from him for future use. In case something on mine breaks someday.

What's different on a Euro GTS than a USA Pantera? I always thought it was engine bits and vented rotors. Anything else?

Standard story. Bought it after selling his first Pantera, took it apart to do it right. Then life, a move out of state, life, more life ... he may not go ahead with selling it, but this is the closest he has got to doing so. He is a GREAT guy and deserves to keep it, but some things don't go the way we have them planned, do they?

Contact him through eBay if you have specific parts needs.

Well let's see here, the gauges are all differant, dash is differant, clock is differant, anttena is differant. All the body trim pieces are differant, mainly just black chromate instead of shiny chrome, but still. The wheels are differant, the sway bar is differant, the little metal plaques mounted all over differant places are differant, the side decals are differant, lots of engine things are differant, and like you mentioned the brakes are differant. But other than that, it is the same. So I guess that would be my list of parts I should stock up on, just in case one of them brakes. Oh yeah, I forgot that emblem on the back trunk lid is differat too, and the one on the back. Hmmmm, think that is it. If I remember more later I will post it here and this will be the list for me to ask him about. Thanks for helping me remember what I needed.
Ooops. Forgot the fender flairs. Gotta get a full set of four. Fiberglass over steel. If someone smaked me from the side, it could never be repaired. So I need all four fender flairs.
OK, andother thing, they came with Blaunkampt or whatever germain radios with cassette player. I bet they don't make those anymore, so I better aske for his.... I also need to ask if our wire harness is unique too. Probably is, I would think. And oh yeah, the headliner is differant, forgot about that too.
Damn, looks like I will need to buy the whole car except engine and tranny.

The phone number listed in that thread for Lloyd Butfoy is a fax. Does anyone have a current number he can be reached at and spoken withOr does anyone know what a ring and pinion costs?
Does anyone know if there are different gear ratio sets available such as maybe a 2.8 first gear with a close ratio 2, 3, 4, and the OD 5?
What I'm thinking is I'd like to have more launch in first without effecting the top gears or changing the 4.22.
My Richmond in my GT350 is a 3.27 first gear and 5th is 1:1 with a 3.50 rear.
It is a close ratio box and pulls very hard in all gears with little if any clutch slippage.
The Burgandy Express dropped into the 9's with just a change to a 5.25 rear, If it had a better 1st gear that might not have been necessary.
