Lot's of speculation. The crazy thing is there a fewer and fewer true journalists. Companies fees packets that are all scripted, it's now all cut and paste. So many so called car journalists are not of the old school and have forgotten how to do their research. Should the new Company relaunch a sports car, it would be good for events for us owners.

They revived Fiat kept it going for all these years ... even after they pulled out of the USA ..and now Fiat is back in the USA ...that has to stand for something ... their track record is good. What worries me is the price and where will it be marketed ... Ford or Ferrari Dealers ?

As you no doubt know, Steve W. has been working with Santiago DeTomaso on many reproduction parts.
My guess is, as Santiago is as close to any existing De Tomaso 'factory' as is currently possible, parts that come onto the market through Steve's and Santiago's efforts would/could be called "Factory Parts".
Perhaps a bit of a stretch, no doubt. But that is my 2¢ on this issue.

The Panthera is as close to a perfect contemporary–retro Pantera as I could imagine. Make it with a Ford GT driveline and I will mortgage the house for a red one!
