As for Tony Conover, he's a Shelby restorer in Hanover, PA. He and his father have owned more Shelby's than anyone according to the SSAC registry. Tony's restored several real GT40's, Pantera's, Cobra's, Boss', Shelby's, etc. He's a great guy and really know's his stuff.
