Ron,

LOOKS GREAT!!! I hope to see it in person sometime soon since we're pratically neighbors. I'm going to take a couple of my cars, including the Pantera, up to Tony Conover's within the next couple months to have some winter work done - maybe we can hook up before then and terrorize some Carroll County rice burners Smiler

Bill in Ijamsville, MD!

Ugggggh, I just got your messagr Ron. I would have loved to meet you guys in Eldersburg last Sat. I used to take my Shelby to the Roy Rogers a few years ago.

I think I'm going to head to Mt. Airy this Sat so let me know if you're going to and we'll meet up.

As for Tony Conover, he's a Shelby restorer in Hanover, PA. He and his father have owned more Shelby's than anyone according to the SSAC registry. Tony's restored several real GT40's, Pantera's, Cobra's, Boss', Shelby's, etc. He's a great guy and really know's his stuff.

I have Koni steel adjustable shocks and springs from Pantera Performance,7/8" rear bar, stock front bar, urethane bushings,Pantera East extended rear upper control arms and Sphereball ends for both sway bars. The brakes are Alcon from Collectors Choice.
I (up until this past year) tracked the car a few times a year at Pocono and Summit Point.
I was very pleased with the performance.(even with the 670hp dry-sump NASCAR engine I had in it for the last year and a half)
I am currently building a GT40 replica from Race Car Replicas in Detroit http://www.race-car-replicas.com/
to replace the Pantera as a track car.The SVO engine will go into this car and the Pantera will be used more for street driving.

Thanks everyone for the compliments
