I can verify that it is plenty of space compare with the std, shafts, my exhaust is 2,5". Race boot is not needed on the outher end. Race boot has some angle limitations when car is lifted and CV shafts/wheels "hanging" down.

Hi Steve,

Here is a picture of the old boot we were using. As you can see, it isn't tapered. It has the same diameter from the beginning to the end of the boot. Even with this style boot, there is plenty of clearance to all moving parts and the exhaust.

Here is a picture of the boots we are currently using. As you can see, these boots are tapered. They provide PLENTY of clearance to the exhaust.
