If you were to replace both units would you also pony up the $250 to replace the clutch hard lines with the ones from Hall (or someone else)??

I have been told there is no real need to do so - just flush the existing lines. On the other hand, it seems like a complete system change out at this time might be the best option. Or is it really just a cosmetic improvement that will never be seen?

Thanks!

To be specific, the stock brass junction on the lower rear subframe has a metric hose bib for the infamous red plastic line going up to the slave cylinder. Coincidently, that hose bib's metric thread is a direct swap for a double-dash-4 AN fitting (with an o-ring on the end going into the junction). Then, you can run any dash-4 AN braided-stainless hose up to the slave cylinder. Because slaves can be threaded several different ways, you will need to search out a compatible dash-4 AN fitting to thread into your slave cylinder; a 1/8-SAE pipe to dash-4 AN is one possiblity. Summit Racing sells a cheap braided-steel clutch kit- not specifically for Panteas- that's been successfully used just recently.
