no parking lights

on my parking light switch i have 5 terminals with only three wires connected,pink is the hot wire, brown and also a white wire. there is a small red wire attatched the white wire. i do not know how to tell if my switch is bad. i do have parking lights when the headlights are on. any help would be appreciated. thanks jr428cj
