Thanx to BigBlock and all for suggestions. I went through all of the Forum Posts to look for ideas. One person suggested removing the shift linkage at the selector box and try getting into reverse and foward gears by turning and moving the spline at the selector box side to side and back and forth. Now having trouble finding most gears. I select what should be 1st while the engine is off then I start the car with the clutch in and then let it out to check the car's movement. Most positions I try act like neutral. If I select what I believe to be an upper gear I move foward. Does anyone know a Pantera specialist in Florida ? Or who, anywhere in the USA to contact.

I too had reverse problems when I first got my P car (#6791), my problem turned out to be the pin broken on the selector cross shaft (maybe rough handling in transit) not suggesting that is your issue, but I got lots of good advice, and setup tips, it worked for me, first find neutral, then do your adjustments, step by step, its not rocket science (I was able to do it) good luck.
