My 1971 Pantera makes a bad noise in the driver's side rear wheel area when making right turns. Left turns or driving straight do not make the sound. It is an unrestored car with about 34,000 miles. While the car is unrestored, I have done some maintenance on it including brakes and half shaft rebuilds. The transaxle has new fluid and the old fluid came out clean. The shocks are original and I am assuming the wheel bearings are as well.
I am guessing the issue is either the wheel bearings or differential. Please let me know if you have any insight about this.
