"Real" tetraethyllead is one of the most poisonous and unstable compounds known to man. This made it horrendously expensive, too. The Ethyl Corporation made it for 50 years, and still occasionally vaporized a block of buildings (and workers) in its mfgr. I seriously doubt if the Feds would let ANYONE sell "real" teraethyllead in any useable form after banning it from the highways 30 years ago. You'll likely find that whatever it is, its 'almost' the same as the good ol' stuff... Whatever you do, do NOT splash this stuff on your skin! Almost instant serious lead-poisoning will follow if its real.
