I took my Pantera out for a ride the other day and experienced an odd electrical problem (gee, imagine that). The oil gauge, fuel gauge, temp gauge, brake lights, and turn signal lights all dropped out. The odd thing was that I could get all to come back on with one of two different methods: 1. Hit a large bump in the road (which is very easy to do in Mighigan) and all electrical would come back. 2. Turn the RH turn signal on and hit the horn button a couple of times and all of the electrical would come back on. Has anyone else experience this before? Does anyone have any ideas on the root cause?

That service is described in detail in one of the factory service bullitens isn't it?
I think you did exactly what it recommended.
It certainly works for mine.
Thanks George, it was fuse #12. I had one of those newer glass type euro fuses in #12. I replaced it with an orginal plastic type fuse which fit the fuse holder much better and amazingly all my electrical is working properly. I suppose the horn thing just created enough resonate vibration to wiggle the fuse a bit. Now,... how can I hook that rubber band up so that I don't get these problems anymore??? Thanks again....
The best ones to get are the shortest ones you can find.
I can't find a source of the thick 1/4"x1", but they are out there.
Some companies use them for shipping purposes on thier electronic products.
Maybe they are Radio Shack items? I don't know.

I can't find them on the internet anywhere but they exist.
I never tried the Pantera vendors but it is possible that they have some.
I don't think it is that unusual of a solution to replacing the entire fuse box.

You just slip them over the electrical contacts that contact the fuses.

Thats's the simplest thing I've ever found. If you don't you can wind up with wierd loss of power here and there or find fuses on your floor.
