Looks like my engine several years ago after a session on our local roadcourse except my valve head was sticking up perpendicular out of the top of the piston instead of lodged in it. Sure wish I'd known it still had the original valves in it when I bought it!
When I bought my 74 Pantera, I got some spare parts with it. Including a pair of newly redone DOAE 2 closed chambered heads. Not to long ago I took a closer look at what kind of valves where used in the rebuilding of those heads. Yep, they stuck those old 2 piece valves right back in. Needless to say....I will be getting rid of them before the closed chambered heads go on!
