Days past, one could order a cast iron impeller for the water pump, ala Boss..or hipo. Anyone seen these since they were discontinued from Ford?
I had a Cleveland pump with one of these in it....sold it last year....before I got the Pantera...duh! Unusual to find in a Cleveland pump!?
How about the "rivet in place DIY improved flow disc" for the rear of the steel impellers? I saw these somewhere, now can't find them....all though fairly easy to do as cutting a circle.... Where's my compass?
Water tube from t-stat housing area question..... My tube seems to have about a 5" growth on it extending down towards #2 cylinder area...but it is not attached to anything....just hanging out in the breeze! It appears like the end was cut off.... Can't imagine that it is there to dampen vibrations....looks more like it would cause a crack......ungood!
Can anyone tell me where this thing is supposed to attach to? V/C bolt or exhaust flange? Since mine is cut...any pic's???
