JACK: you said that the oil dipstick is 34"
long. I have a 73. and the dipstick has been
redone.. mine is 37" long. the tube runs from the top of the coolant tank back to the block. I usually add only 5 qts of oil, with new filter. should I get rid of this dipstick? seems to run ok, and I don't want to over fill it. thks. Karl
