Ever thought about entering your De Tomaso automobile in a open road race (ORR)?
Interested in a ORR where there are something like 57 turns in 57 miles of a 2-lane road.
Michael Frasier of Texas, a fellow De Tomaso Pantera owner and veteran ORR driver has layed down the gauntlet challenging fellow De Tomaso owner's to the first open road race (ORR) of the year for Team Pantera Racing in April.
The Big Bend Open Road Challenge which will be held in Sanderson Texas is scheduled for April 23-25, 2004.
All the event registration and tech rules are available on line at <www.bborr.com>
Mike hopes to have a good De Tomaso turn out and if you have ever thought about participating in a ORR event I hope you'll contact me.
If we can register a minimum of 5 participants with De Tomaso Pantera's we'll be able to compete in the Team Challenge. I expect other teams from Corvette, Porsche, Viper, Camaro, Mustang and even a vintage muscle car team.
Right now I believe we have a couple of us who have confirmed with Mike that they are definately traveling from the west coast to join Mike's team of 3-4 more Pantera's in Sanderson Texas for the event.

Get off the sofa slacker and roll your De Tomaso 500-to-1,000 reported HP out of the garage!

Team Pantera Racing
If you're not on the edge you're taking up space.
The 1st and still the only vintaqe race team to finish all team cars in 3 ORR events
in one race season. . .
Some people said it couldn't be done. . .
what they really meant was no one else had done it yet.
"Racing is life. . .everything that happens before or after is just waiting."
