Great looking cars! Bet that MGB will be fun when you get it done. Have a friend that had an old MG-TD with a Corvette 283 & 4-speed. Great fun. Unfortunately,it burned to the ground with his house & there wasn't enough left to even think about rebuilding. Besides my 73L I've got an 86 Olds 442 with a built 403 in lieu of it's original 307. Built to appear completely stock but the exhaust gives it away, still a fun "sleeper" for the street though. Can take a look at www.dodgecarroll.com/86olds if you like.

Nope, the 307 was a gutless little V-8 they originally put in these cars. I've had quite a few '67-'72 442's and this one certainly didn't uphold the "musclecar" tradition, so I fixed this one so it runs better than any stock W-30 or Hurst Olds of the era & still looks factory "stock".

I'll try to Monday from work. I have dial up at home (in the "country") and uploading photos is a pain.

My current cars: 71 push button, Fiat 500R, 60 Triumph TR3, 69 Superbee, & 64 GTO convertible. I come close to adding something else on a daily basis ! All I can do is read the local adds, surf ebay, and watch speedovision. Its an addiction of sorts. At least they seem to go up in value. Sooo many cars, so little time!

Since you have both, how does the Z06 and the Pantera differ in handling?

Honestly, I'm not really sure yet. I know they're a lot different, but I haven't been able to push the pantera hard. I need to get a new oilpan set up before I do. The stock set up on modern race tires will allow the oil to slosh to one side of the pan, leaving no oil at the pick-up.

That said, my Pantera isn't really set up for great handling, so I don't expect it to be in the Z06's realm. 335's in the rear and 225's up front will likely equate to a lot of understeer.

Wish I could give you more first hand experience.

Hello Ron,,,
Its Stock French Blue, It was painted by Pantera Performance many years ago,, Its looks like Grabber Blue,,, maybe just a little darker. I do not know what brand of paint it is. Please post some pic's when you paint, I'd like to see.

Yes,, they are day time driving lights,, Those "white" lights,,, I'm not sure who makes them, But I'v seen them for sale around town, They fit the hole just right.
