OK I will try to make this simple. Part numbers are from the ZF Manual.
I removed the flanges for each out put shafts and found that the bearing rings (906) were pitted, and the bearings (905) were also pitted. Because I am overhauling the engine I am concerned that the additional HP will cause a problem if the existing condition is reinstalled without a re-build.
Is there a source for the tooling to remove the bearing and bearing rings?
(Tools .2, .3, .4 & .7)
Where can I get a replacement set of tapered bearings and rings, or is this a standard size?

Second Question is that I found a difference between the right hand and left hand flange. The right hand flange had a stamped or spun metal hat covering the bearing outer ring (906) and the LH did not. Is this normal? The ring was press fit on the flange and is on the press fit side of the flange to the ZF case. I could not find this part in the manual.

Third Question The Clutch withdrawal shaft (1001) did not have any return springs. The ZF manual shows two springs (1004 and 1008) is this a problem, or should I install these springs. My ZF is a -2.
